ASE was founded in 1997 with the aim to develop an efficient range of services in Ancona, a port in the centre of Italy on the Adriatic Coast, called by the major Container Shipping Companies and Ro/Pax carriers and connected with Greece, Croatia and Albania.
ASE has a transport division with a fleet of own trucks and a trusted network of partners able to provide not only the road haulage for the container industry but also all kind of road transport in Italy.
In 2017 ASE launched its third division focused on logistics, offering the capacity of over 11.000 pallets, large uncovered areas and bonded and fiscal warehouse of 15.000 sqm.

VGM(Verified Gross Mass)
The ASE terminal is structured to carry out the weighing
of the container within the port area.
From 1st July 2016 all containers must be loaded with VGM (Verified Gross Mass) certification, for the port of Ancona containers without VGM cannot be accepted in the terminal (no VGM no Gate IN). According to the provisions of the new SOLAS provisions, it is the “Shipper” who bears this burden, therefore the shipper is required to verify the gross mass (VGM) of the containers in one of the two weight methods permitted by the regulation, before these containers enter the terminal.
The ASE terminal is structured to weigh the container inside the port area.
Send an e-mail with the subject “Weighing request” indicating the following data:
– Hapag Lloyd booking number
– N° container (if known)
– Complete data for billing (company header, complete address, tel., email, VAT number)
